Meet Terressa Dorsey
Known to many as FlyGirlDiva, Terressa Dorsey is the Founder of The DIVAs Lounge, a faith-centered lifestyle brand, podcast, and sisterhood dedicated to helping women heal, grow, and align with the life they were created to live.
For years, Terressa built a career in media, entertainment, and broadcasting, interviewing celebrities, hosting radio shows, and using her voice to inspire audiences across South Florida. But behind the microphone, God was preparing her for something greater—a purpose rooted not in entertainment, but in transformation.
Today, through The DIVAs Lounge, Terressa encourages women to embrace every season of their journey with courage, faith, and authenticity. Whether through her podcast, journals, coaching, candle collection, or community initiatives, her mission remains the same:
To encourage, empower, and help women evolve into the best version of themselves.
My Journey
Born in Nuremberg, Germany and raised in a military family, Terressa's life has always been shaped by resilience, adaptability, and a passion for connecting with people.
After relocating to Miami in 1991, she pursued her love for performance, communication, and leadership through theater, broadcasting, and public speaking. Her confidence, vibrant personality, and determination eventually led her into radio, where she became known throughout South Florida as FlyGirlDiva.
Throughout her broadcasting career, Terressa interviewed notable artists and entertainers including Rick Ross, Chrisette Michele, The Braxtons, 2 Chainz, Trey Songz, T-Boz of TLC, Cam'ron, and 112. She spent years building a respected voice in media while inspiring others to dream bigger and believe in themselves.
Yet despite professional success, God continued to place a deeper calling on her heart.
A calling to serve women.
A calling to create community.
A calling to remind women that healing and growth are possible.
Why I Created The DIVAs Lounge
The DIVAs Lounge was born from a simple belief:
Every woman deserves a safe space to grow.
Not a space built on perfection.
Not a space built on comparison.
But a space built on grace, healing, faith, and personal development.
Over the years, I encountered countless women who felt unseen, overlooked, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Women who were carrying the weight of life while still showing up for everyone else.
I created The DIVAs Lounge to be a reminder that you don't have to walk that journey alone.
Here, women are encouraged to heal, reflect, dream, grow, and become everything God created them to be.

My mission is to help women heal from what hurt them, grow through what challenged them, and align with the purpose God has placed on their lives.
