Terressa Dorsey aka FlyGirlDiva CEO & Founder of DIVA’s Lounge was born in Nuremberg, Germany; where her parents met and married in the Army. Terressa’s BIG personality was molded by the many different cultures she was able to experience from living in many different places. As a pastor's kid she was unable to listen to secular music and grew up singing, dancing, and acting in church. The love that Terressa has for music from an early age, only made her more curious in her teenage years to turn on the radio and listen to what the church called ”worldly music.” Although Terressa was sheltered, her confidence and big personality made her stand out and concur the world as a leader and trendsetter. Miami has been her home since 1991 and she attended Norland Senior High School where she was a flagette in the band. Diva was later accepted in to Michael Krop Senior High School Theater Program and was able to sing across the US in competitions. Besides singing and being on stage, Terressa has always had the desire to help others and grew up wanting to become a Doctor. After graduating from high school she went on to study Biology at Florida Atlantic University then later transferred to FAMU. 

Big Bold and Beautiful is how others describe her. Diva is a plus-sized woman, who stands 5’11 and has always been scouted by many modeling agents to do Runway Modeling. Terressa has walked in more than 20 Runway shows and also became one of two girls to be the 1 st plus size models to be accepted into the #1 modeling troop on FAMU campus “The Epicureans.” She was also a finalist in Comedienne Monique’s first plus-sized woman pageant show Monique’s Fat Chance that aired on WEtv in 2006. Terressa has accomplished so much in a short period of time but never thought she would later change her major to broadcasting. As a confident, independent, full-figured woman she has always wanted to show the world that big girls can do anything, so she joined a group a girls called The Chunky Chickz.  This movement created a networking environment for Plus-sized women in Miami. The Chunky Chickz Radio Show was birthed on DJ Affect’s station w305.com. The show grew to gain so much attention in Miami, that Rick Ross stamped them in the streets. This is when Terressa decided to pursue radio and attended Connecticut School of broadcasting where she received her degree in Radio/Television. 

She had the opportunity to intern at 99 jamz, 103.5 The Beat FM and Hot105 and landed her first radio gig on Miami’s #1 Party Station Power96 as a radio personality from 2014-2021. Terressa has interviewed many of celebrities like Rick Ross, Chrisette Michelle, The Braxtons, 2 Chains, Trey Songz, TBoz of TLC, Cameron, 112, just to name a few. Fly Girl Diva is a Jill of all trades and has truly mastered many, who now also has her very own Talk Show called; “DIVAs Lounge” on Video Mix TV which aired on Channel 11.5 in South Florida. Terressa continues to grows and became a business owner to an online boutique in 2019 and Certified Life Coach in 2021. There's no limit to where she can go!
